The French Quarter Festival will cause parking problems to those teams playing at the Hilton. The AM Wave should be OK as the Festival starts at 10:30 am.
But the PM wave may have to find an alternative to the Hilton self-parking garage they normally use. The Hilton has 2 other parking lots they can try. Also, there is the Fulton parking garage on Convention Center Blvd directly across from the Convention Center.
In today’s newspaper they mentioned parking for those going to the Festival at Lot F of the Morial Convention Center. The cost is $10. Their free shuttle will run Saturday 10:30 am to 10:00 pm and Sunday from 10:30 am - 8:00 pm. Drop off and pick-up will be at Canal and North Peters St. {about 3 blocks from Hilton}. This may be an option if all else fails.

All players must attend the Scorekeeping and Rules Clinic on Wednesday, Jan. 13 at 6pm at St. Joseph’s Academy in Baton Rouge. This will take the place of practice this week, so the girls next practice will be on Sunday, Jan. 17.

* A schedule of practices and tournaments will be given at the registration meeting.
